How does the heart age work if I don’t have my biometric information?

The more information you give, such as your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, the more accurate your score will be. If you don’t know these numbers don’t worry, you’ll still get a score. But it’s easy to find these out with a trip to the doctor and it’s important you know these numbers anyway.  You can enter or update these numbers at any time throughout the Challenge.

If you are unable to provide some of the information, we will extrapolate averages from the PROCAM cohort. For example, if you don’t provide your blood pressure, we will use the blood pressure reading for the average person of your age and gender from the PROCAM cohort. Your values might actually vary from the cohort so this is why it’s important that you provide as much information as possible – the more tailored it is to you, the more accurate your Heart Age will be.
